Andalite. That's what those aliens were called. Really, did nobody know it? They're mentioned in every single Animorphs book! 
And, somehow I started liking them, even though I've never really liked any aliens in general before I read Animorphs. I just felt there was something special about Andalites...
Anyone want to know more about them? Curious? Well... 
Where do I start? Here are some random facts:
-Ok, their lower body is supposed to be deer-like, not horse-like.
-Their tail has a really sharp blade at the end, which can make them really dangerous. They can swing their tails faster than our eyes can notice.
-No mouth, so how do Andalites eat and speak? Well, as weird as it sounds, they eat through their hooves(getting nutrients through them). A little less weirder, they talk by <thought speech>.
-Average andalite arms are weaker than average human arms. Oh, and they have 7 fingers on each hand instead of 5, which makes 14 fingers in total. Would be too hard to pixel, so I left that part out.
-Really technologically advanced. They invented the morphing technology, which lets them(and everyone else who touches the "morphing cube", thus getting the power) turn into any creature they acquire. However, there is a 2-hour limit for the time you can stay in morph. If you exceed 2 hours, you cannot demorph, making you a nothlit.
-Stalk eyes, letting them see forwards and backwards at once. The stalk eyes can move independently from each other.
-When they are in human morph, they are hilarious. Usually they don't have the sense of taste, so when they get to eat something as a human, they go insane. And the ability to talk("make mouth sounds") seems to be very fascinating for them. Or at least for Ax(imili-Esgarrouth-Isthill, which is his full name), who is the andalite we get to hear from a lot in those books. He even narrates some of the books in the Animorphs series.
-Oh, and Andalites can't quite get how we humans are able to walk with two legs with no problems, or run with them, for that matter.
Did you really read all that? Congrats, now you know a lot about them without even reading the books.
