| i made up my mind. and i want to break up with him. but my mom told me after v-day because it would be sad. well its really awkward between us, i try to talk but he wont. also i said yes when he asked me out because i didnt want to be mean( also peer pressure a little so i feel sad everyday.and v-day it will be even weirder. i dont think of him like that and i am not ready for a relationship like all my friends. so how and when? i am so confused  i tried to say it today but i just couldnt. he doesnt have a phone either |

With what you said up there ^^ go up to him with a nice, apologetic attitude and explain why you don't think you should be dating. |

| Yes, you should definitely tell him after v-day as owl and makkine said. It will hurt him much less. |

Say, "Hey, listen, I dont think I'm ready to date. It's not your fault, I'm just not ready"
Not paraphrase, but something along those lines. You're safe that way and you dont have to tell him you dont like him. The only issue you might have is if he asks when you'll be ready and if you guys can pick up from there. If you want to be completely safe, just tell him on top of not being ready that you just dont think you're compatible with him. Dont straight up tell him you dont like him. Compatible is a good word to use as a substitute for "I dont like you", chemistry is another one. |
