Work for my birthday. -_-

Like I said in my hello again post, my birthday is the 28th and I really want to do something for animals this year. For those who dont know, animals are my life and I want to become a vet very badly. This year im donating all my birthday money im getting (even money for collage that I get from my birthday) to a local animal shelter. And half of the people who read this will talk about the ASPCA and I learned that they only give 78% of the money to the animals. The rest is for staff and animal food.

I also want to adopt a sloth. I learned in my state that its not illegal to have wildlife for pets. And I wont take it from its natural habitat. Just a sloth that cant be in the wild anymore due to previous things that happened in the wild. But I dont know how much the permit will cost. I dont know if it will happen.

I really need to decide what I will do. If I dont adopt the sloth, zoos cant take the sloth because it might be sick or for other reasons. If no one takes them they might not make it. (emotional)
But animal shelters need the money to stop animal cruelty.

What should I do? ;_;

i think you should donate the money. the sloth will be very hard to take care of and you might not take care of it correctly!!!!!! also it's a lot easier to donate th emoney. not to mention even if that sloth cant live in the wild anymore, it really shouldnt live in a house...

What Oliver said, you should donate. If you donated, you could save more lives of more animals while in contrast, if you helped out the sloth, its still a good decision and is kind, but you'll save only one. But it's your choice really and its really kind of you to do this on your birthday.

That sloth thing is sad..You should do it, animals need lots of help. (and right now there is a sad animal commercial about pounds on. now i feel really bad for animals.)

I guess you should donate the money, but make sure you find a good, trust-worthy animal shelter to donate to!
