Don't you dislike (hate) it when..

Don't you hate it when you're role-playing.. then the person decides to kill your character and ruin the whole experience?

Share some of your "don't you hate it when" stories about the forum here.

I never had a scenario like that before.

That doesn't usually bother me unless it's a one-on-one roleplay and an important part is happening or w/e and then the other person suddenly logs off without saying anything.

Don't you hate it when you are trying to make a stinking point and you mess up your words?

Like this:

WHY THE HECK DID YOU EAT MY MARB- I mean MARSHMELLOW?

It makes everything less serious.

Omigosh Marshy, I do that all the time.. The one time I said, "in the hood, bro" and my friend said, "when did you become black?" and I was trying to say "When did you become so racist?" as a joke, but then I said, "Why is ghandi racist?" and I fricked it up.. Ghandi isn't racist either..

Was that me, Joy? Sorry, I was eating dinner.


I always hate it when someone throws a fit about something minor like someone critiquing there art.

I also don't like when people throw in random skills in the "personality" section on RP applications, like "Sings really well" or "Is great at baseball". Or when they use words like "fun" or "is a good friend" to describe their character without giving a reason why they're fun. Show don't tell, guys.

No, it wasn't you. But it was Heather~ but it's against the rules to make subjects about certain people. So I was willing to hear other people's forum mess-ups so mine wouldn't seem so bad.. But since you brought it up, then it was you.. sort of.. not really.

That rule just means you cant post something like this:

Sorry if I did that Pippin, I just have no idea what to do with my character's personalities and when I do describe them I just roleplay the complete opposite. But I admit it is rather annoying.

Here's a hint: Try giving your character interests that could be perceived as "fun" instead of just throwing in the word. Like you could have a character who likes to play board games, or a character who tries his/her best to be nice even when they're upset.

Honestly people have lives and sometimes have to log off in an instant so I don't see anything wrong with it

This is true.

You don't always have a chance to inform people you're logging off, although it's nice to do so if you can.

There could be something serious going on. I'm pretty sure if something I had to take care of happened I wouldn't take the time to right a message.

You know that I'm not always available 24/7. It might be bedtime for me when I need to log off, and my dad keeps yelling at me to shut down the laptop, so I'm in a hurry at that point.

It's likely we are in different time zones, also.

a lot of times i have to suddenly log off from things and i don't do it on purpose. it's nobody's fault, really. they just either have bad internet or suddenly have to go somewhere. i do my best to say goodbye, but sometimes i can't. but it is irritating when that happens, nonetheless.


don't you hate it when people tell the 'trolls' "omg shut up u hav no life wtf go away. lol!"

Also what if they're just going on other sites or want to do something else, taking a break, there isn't exactly a need for them to tell people
I don't really care when people log off without telling me, it doesn't really matter since they're going to come back later.

I try to inform others, but lately RP has been so inactive... I remember doing PR and I remember going to eat dinner, and saying so, and then I went back and everybody was waiting for me like a nice hug!

Anyways, don't you hate it when you're talking to someone, and you say something like "Hey, you know-" and then they interrupt you and when they finish they say "Oh, I'm sorry, what were you saying again?" and then you take a deep breath and go like "So you know when.... Um.... Eh... I forgot." And you remember like three seconds later but the process repeats.

Actually, I have to stay up all night until it's finished, my parents wouldn't let me sleep unless I have some excuse.

well, for me it can be that. i've spent all day on the computer and its 8.00 pm. i notice i am missing something due today. i start doing it as fast as possible and then i hear my mom say: "its time to go to sleep." and i just hurry so much.

Haha, exactly. Then I feel really stressed, I just want to finish. ;;

Me with book reports. i procrastinate a lot, so the part with my parents eventually comes into play. unfortunately, i get a book report every month, so its a chain of that until this school year ends :p.

Don't you hate it when teachers pile on tests on the same day you just so happen to be doing something important/huge. (We have lives you know)

I hate it when I'm really into a RP and then I get busy and I don't log in for a day. Ten when I get back there are like 10 pages of new content.

Lol it isn't anyone's fault though. It's pretty much my fault. But I still hate it -_-

I also hate it when you're telling the truth and then you laugh or juble your words do everyone thinks you're lying.
