Adam and Relora. I applaud you. You two are truly nice and I adore both of you. Thank you everyone else, I'm feeling a little more confident about myself now.

Adam, your advice is 100% true. I'm happy to have you as a friend.

As for Relora, I was actually burning inside. I wanted to snap at certain people, but then I thought "What would that make them think of me.. Don't feed the trolls, Charlene" so I chose the polite route. I'm glad you stuck up for me and I appreciate it a lot.

Okay,that is just straight up ignorant.I don't want to start a rant but you never know if Joy gets bullied and feels insecure about she feels and looks.Maybe she likes to feel good and feel confident,but obviously people in this harsh world like some people I know make others feel lower and you know,words hurt and how you wrote that just expressed your attitude.

Stuff like this actual help the person,so if instead of saying 'go COMPLIMENT your self gosh' be the bigger person and compliment her,and if you didn't want to just don't write anything.

How am I ignorant? Do you even know the definition? All I am saying is that you don't need other people to make you feel better. All you need is yourself, to help you. Why do you guys always RELY on people? And there is no need for compliments, when you know your good at something already.

correction: friends are a major part of happiness. like yes, your happiness does depend on your attitude, but if you're all alone and don't have friends to help cheer you up, you'll feel neglected and bad about yourself. so don't think she can just use herself to cheer up, because that's only part of it.

also the bucket book is great for making yourself happy! it puts me in a good mood every time i think of it.

but joy, don't think that nobody here knows what it's like to feel left out. i'm positive we've all felt left out at at least one point in our lives, and we're here to help you get through it! you are a beautiful, talented, amazing girl and don't let anybody tell you otherwise. but instead of focusing on how you think people don't like you, focus on how you can improve yourself. if you find that you're being the best you can and people still don't like you, either try to be better or they are not worth it. every day you can make yourself either better or worse, so choose what you want to do.

All a bunch of people stated, there isn't anything wrong with wanting compliments. I know when I'M FEELING DOWN I like compliments. Think of it this way:: If I, or someone like a moderator octopi poster posted this, would you snap at them, too? Or are you justing getting mad because it's Joy?

I can't apologize for anyone else, but I'm sorry if you took what I said in a mean way.
I didn't mean to be rude ):, but I think everyone else is agreeing with me in saying that if you want compliments then you should give them.

Another reason for me to apologize is to say that i didn't realize that you DO give compliments and you ARE a nice person to the other people on the forums. And you DO deserve a compliment now and then~ *hugs* you are a very nice person, and if we should ever meet in real life I would want to be your friend (:
