| I would get Trey, he's male, therefor he won't have his menstrualcycle and bleed all over your house. Izzy is kind of clingy too, and I would prefer a more outside dog. |

| In my opinion, I'd get Trey since he's well trained. Izzy is also pretty good to, but will mostly likely go crazy if you have a loud household. But Izzy is cute. | |

Maybe put him in a closed space or room for the first few days. He'll probably miss his old owners and would try to find a way out of the house to go find them. And keep a good grip on his leash when walking him.

Get treats, dog toys, a cage, food and water bowl. Encourage the dog by petting him when he is good. Take him out with a leash at first so he can get used to your yard. Make sure he gets trained (if he isnt already.) Give him lots of love and attention. Take him for walks, go to the nearest dog park. Make him know his boundaries. Get bitter apple spray incase he might chew on your furniture. Clean your house, get it dog proof. Learn his potty routine. Im sorry i raised a puppy some of these things you might not need

Im sorry i raised a puppy some of these things you might not need Thank you I was on different websites taking down notes so I can take extra drastic measures. I have to brush the teeth and everything. What motion to wash its fur in lol. The reason I didn't really want trey is because it is a mixed breed. I just wanted strictly Yorkshire terrier. Trey is very adorable I just hope is still available for adoption.

| - This one is kind of gross, but if you see something come out his genitalia, go to the vet. That ain't healthy because male dogs don't get discharge. - Never, ever, hit him. It won't help. Yell at him and make him aware what he did is wrong. - Walk him 1-2 times a day. Small dogs will get exausted easily if they walk too much due to their tiny legs. Around the block is good enough, but you could go farther. - Don't keep him in your arms all day. He is not a teddy bear. He will get annoyed. - Don't touch his whiskers. He will bite you since that helps them get around, and it gives them an annoying feeling. - Know body language so he won't bite you. http://25.media.tumblr.com/1d676ff3df307475c1c82a66c31ec2c0/tumblr_mn7obekbA41qjw5pto1_1280.jpg - You should give him little socks to bite on, small dogs teethe a lot.

Unlike my dog who could walk for 2 hours straight. Terriers should get about 20 minutes or more of walking. But if the dog gets tired forunatly for you, you can carry it. If they start slowing down they should get home soon.

This might sound funny but it is true the need to be walked because Yorkies are dogs for like show and they rest alot. And if they do too long their joints get slow.

| @toast i have a female husky who's about 5 years old and i'm 99% she's never had her menstrual cycle yet?? i'm not really into small dogs, but personally i think trey is much cuter. it's all on your personal choice though i don't have small dogs (i have two big huskies yeehaw) but here's a couple things for dogs in general -try to give them fresh food (as in making it everyday. what i do is that i have a half/full cup (depends on the dog) of dry food, a spoonful of meats from a can, and little bits of other stuff like leftover chicken or something. i feed my dogs twice a day, but it might be different for you) -i'm pretty sure yorkies are not self-exercising dogs (basically i think that they won't get exercise on their own, you have to take it for a walk or else it won't get it's exercise. i know that's certainly the case with quite a few older dogs). when you walk it, try going a few times a day, and maybe 2-4 blocks down. i don't know how much stamina the dogs have so it really depends on that. -please use http://prntscr.com/1ejjrz leash instead of the leashes that look like http://prntscr.com/1ejjuc . this is because with the second kind, they break very easily and it's much more safer to use the first kind. if the dog is kinda energetic use the first one. since they're little dogs they're probably not hard to control at all on walks (unlike huskies which were bred to pull things otl). just be on the safe side - never ever hit your dog. i dont care what reason, don't hit them. -make sure you give them plenty of attention--they depend on you! -make sure your yard is fenced! you don't want your dog to escape i have more but this is all i can think of for now.
