School starts soon...need help on something ASAP

Ok ok ok so I need help on this...I have 2 friends in real life, though they don't go to my school...at school I had a friend though we had a fight and we don't hang out all that much anymore, I made a friend in 5th grade though she was really annoying and she agreed wi me on everything and lied about all e stuff I like...school starts in a week and idk what to do...I made no real friends last year and my friends go to different schools.. :/ I'm kinda shy in real life when it comes to this kind of stuff ( when I have a friend in real life too and we talk I am not shy and talk a ton ) What should I do to make friends :/ also stuff like in dork diaries aren't true about middle school right? I have Maria as a friend though she is in 4th grade..

When I went to middle school I got the gitters but acctually just be yourself and not care what people think about you.

Actually, I'm moving this summer, so I really won't have any friends! In fact, I won't know anyone! So, I can't really give much advice except for make new friends :3

You should try to be kind to everybody, regardless of what they think of you!

just be yourself. if people dont accept you, then don't bother with them. if people do find interest in you, and for who you are, and you like them back, then you got some new friends. being funny is a great addition too

^This. If you lie about who you are, people won't learn who you really are. Just be nice people will become friends with you!
Also, joining a club is a great way to meet friends. My cousins made most of their friends in their tennis team and they're really nice.

DO NOT BELIEVE IN BOOKS LIKE DORK DIARIES TRUST ME SCHOOL IS DIFFERENT. The teachers aren't evil and stuff and middle school is not like a high school drama. However the bullying can be really hurtful and its likely that half people in there are super annoying. But the homework is easier in 6th grade and the teachers are nice and everything is fun! Unlike 7th grade, 7th grade was empty and dull


I'm terrible at making friends but what I suggest is be you, be friendly and nice to others, try to talk to others, when someone invites you to sit with them at lunch, DO IT. I hope you enjoy your school year owo

I'd like to say that there's a ton of drama in middle school but by high school everyone kinda does their own thing and there isn't nearly as much drama, trust me.

Always remember to be nice to others, even if they're being mean to you. Trust me, if you're mean to others it will come back and bite you one day. I don't have many friends in real life and I'm awful at making friends, I think that's just about all the advice I could give you. Best of luck.

i uh, i have around 3 friends in school so i get you?? and im not really close to any of them except for maybe one. my closer friends have all moved away. to be honest most people in my generation are very annoying and i, rather dislike them, and sometimes they make fun of me haha
ive noticed in the usa there are a lot more anime fans than in mexico, so look for some of those in your new school and become friends with them! if there arent many, just look for people that look nice nad stuff.

Ok! Though just wondering, but when does clubs at school usually start? I just wanna know if they are late or do they start the first week of school?

Gurl, you ain't need any friends. So you have friends outside from school, correct? Then that's fine as long as you have one friend to rely on. You can have friends at school but its not like you desperately need them. Like everyone said, be yourself be unique. Don't always depend on friends. You gotta stick up for yourself gurl!

make new friends. that happened to me before. everyone in my class i have never talked to. then i just became friends with like 5 other people. i also made an enemy though. i literally make new friends every year. i have about 10-20 ex friends. whoever chooses which class im in always puts me away with my friends.

also!! if in your school you can make clubs, start an anime club!! :v0

Yeah,My school starts last June 3.. xD I know it's so early.. And.. First.. Just say Hi to your seatmate.. Try yourself not to be shy.. :> Because I'm also like you.. A very shy person.. ^^

All that crap in "Dork Diaries" is about as untrue as it gets. People do not in fact ridicule you about what brand of clothing you are wearing, and if they do than they are just jerks and can be ignored.

I can't give you any advice about making friends (because I don't have any), but what I can tell you is that you can survive middle school alone. It wasn't pleasant, but I can verify that it is possible in the case that everyone hates you. Which is unlikely but still a possibility.


Trust me, making friends is really not as easy as other people make it out to be. If you end up in my situation I promise to help you with it by PM or something if you want.

Yea, usually clubs will starts at the beginning of school. I know at my old middle school they had sign-ups during the time just before school, as well if you asked your counsleor, as well as during that time of school where people are encouraged to bring their parents in so they can see what we are doing and what we will be doing (forgot what that was called sorry >.<)

Another good idea would be to try out for a sport you like or think you'd do well in. Usually sports are for a certain time of the year, for example american foot ball is for the fall, soccer if for fall and winter, and baseball and softball are during the spring. When it's time to sign up for these sports you'll hear an announcement or have a teacher tell you. Again asking your guidance counselor will always help!

uh, acctually at some schools they do ridicule you on the brands slapped on your shirt or the butt of your shorts. ((Its like are school)

Normally only if they're drugs or something. Unless it's a private school, but on the other hand most private schools have really strict dress codes and/or uniforms anyway.
