How's school been so far? Grades, Drama, ECT.

School is fine. I got public speaking class for my elective

English: 95% *sniff*
Math: 96% *also sniff*
Science: 100% *Yay*
Social Studies: 100% *WOWOWOWOOWOWOW*

It's only been a few weeks and the homework isn't much. I have this thing called pupil path that shows me my grades.

So far it looks like I'll be staying in the SP class. Or not. =O

Also I stink at social studies. Which is why I'm happy I got 100%. #SocialStinkers

Eh, decent. I pretty much have high A's and B's. One C in Chemistry honors so that's not a surprise there if you consider the rest of my honors classes and one AP class ; __ ; My school is so big the only drama I ever witness are upperclassmen acting like idiots and girls complaining about their boyfriends in the hallway. #SAVEME

am i the only one here who really like social studies or am I a lonely geek ; ;

It is not bad to be one, but it is really awkward to be asked that. (I am not one, but I am bisexual) I told them no, and they said that a girl named Ashley (she used to be my friend in 5th grade but I left her for reasons that horifies me.) told everyone that I was one. It makes me so mad that rumors like this are going on in my school.


Also there is a guy who used to be in my past classes. I hate him. In 4th grade he was expelled from my old school. He would make mean jokes about other people including teachers. He was also really innapropriet. He has asked teachers really bad things to make other people laugh. He does a lot of other stuff, too. Anyway, he is in my music and gym class. Ugh...

sounds like ashley's really rude, and she isn't the type of person you should associate with!! you made a good choice in not being her friend. however, if you are polite to her, she might see how cool and collected you are and hopefully stop being so annoying.

My grades are alright...I have a 100 in orchestra though!!! I mostly have b's though :/ there hasn't really been any drama like major drama.. I'm in accelerated math and science ( we don't have anything else accelerated and accelerated orchestra is for next year) I don't have P.E which is good because we have to run a mile every week!!! I want to get to do French classes...health class is ending for me next week and I will get either theater art, p.e , French, or Spanish. Maybe a computer science??? Idk. The most fun people like anime so ya....I am the only 6th grader who hasn't been called " sixth grader" by an 8th grader?? Probably because I look like a 12 year old+ and am tall for my age..8th graders seem to use bad language and stuff..it's weird also all 8th graders have boyfriends or girlfriends or is gonna ask someone out or had one before. Hmmm.

I just got back my EQAO from 6th grade, and this is what I got:

Reading: Level four, better than most people in my province.
Writing: Level four, better than most people in my province.
Math: Level Two, almost reaching the average of most people in my province.

For the past years, I've done better than 94-98% percent of students my age in my province, so It's not that big of a deal to me. ^^

School is boring this year. Nothing much to talk about for me either. There's no drama really, or at least I'm not involved in it. I have straight A's so far and got 5's on both the reading and math state tests last year. Though I hate physical science I barely understand anything jshbfjrehbc algebra too

Orchestra : 92.5 A ( ugh she gave everyone an F for participation for some reason..)
Reading and English: 85.1 B yeah not my greatest subject...
Math: 94% A 60% off from a test. ( tests are 60% of our grade )
Science: 98.6 A

I'm in all accelerated btw. For 6th graders some students get  p.e. first then some students get computers first. So in the next semester I would be switching to computers ( we're going to learn how to type.. i know how to type, but not home row, I type scattered so yeah lol )
Err I'm hoping to bring up the reading grade.....

Most of my classes are honors. I am doing pretty good, concidering ( I think I spelled that wrong) that I made a 72 in Honors English 9 and a 76 in Algebra 1 last year. :(I am going to fail English 10. :(I hope I don't. I am trying to bring my grades up because my parents want me to go to college. I do, too. Wish me luck!

Drama: Kids at school are rude, mean and nasty. A girl called me a bully because I cussed her out for tripping me up on purpose. And people steal my stuff. And some ugly you know what named Sunshine said that I had AIDS. And someone took my purple flexi ruler. In band. there is this girl how thinks she can play better than I can. She said that I can't play high notes, and laughed at my when my carninet wouldn't make a sound (it's old, so parts break easily.). A boy called me the N word. And boys make sexual jokes towards me. I think that they do it to make me yell at them. It's hard to ignore it.

AND THE WORST PART IS PEOPLE JOKE ABOUT ME GOING TO THE SCHOOL AND SHOOTING EVERYONE THERE. HOW IS THAT FUNNY!?

I can't stand these people.

But other than that, I am doing alright.

School is fantastic like omg you don't even know. I'm in a new school surrounded with completely new people and I actually have friends and talk to people and I'm actually happy. Turns out all my stress/anxiety/depression was triggered from my old school and now that I'm out of there I'm finally in a good place. My grades are amazing I'm taking a college class. (:

just out of curiosity, what's "scholars' bowl"? like, what do you do in the class? it sounds interesting.

i just had a geometry test yesterday and it was actually better than i expected! but at the same time, i really don't want to get my results back lOLz

It means u got a good grade (REALLY GOOD GRADE) in the NJASK. (Its a test that everybody takes in NJ)

But for the homework... not doin so well. I mean, im 11 and i cant even spell seperate right.

So..... yah.
This may not be bad for u, but is REALLY is for me... i keep getting 1 wrong on each of my tests, from science to LA, to Math, to history. This sucks. Usually, i get 100%, now we have POP QUIZZES and we have to study every day

Oh and the award I got was an Academic Effort award. I also read a speech on Hospitality and me and my friend teamed up since we're the best writers in the class to write the speech. She stepped up first, and when I stepped up, I could hear all my grade eight friends cheering REALLY REALLY REALLY loud and I turned bright red lololol

But my old teacher from last year said it was beautifully written<3

I also got 97% on my science test. BEST MARK IN THE CLASS! =D

My teachers graded and returned some of my tests!  They're all in order from the date I took them.  Feel free to ask questions, if any.

Math - 100%, getting more tests back soon
Religion - 100% (im an atheist so pls nothing about that)
Spelling - 65% (i think), 100%, and 95%
Grammar - 100%, 100%, 100%

I'm also the highest level reader in the class-- a level X, if you're curious.  In case the levels are different for the others, it's A being the lowest and Z being the highest.

I sent my HCHS application confirmation papers in last week, as well.  I have to ask my principal if she faxed them yet.

EDIT: A little more drama has been going on lately, too, even if I try not to talk to anyone.  This boy that sits next to me is constantly in my business, and every time he sees me doing something "against the rules," he calls me a dumb***.  I've proved him wrong each time, and I've even warned him that I have things against him.

Another girl told me "I wouldn't give it to you, anyway, if I had one." once I asked if anyone had a metro card.  She even threw a kid's desk over and made his books fall out.  I'm not scared of her, but she was being quite rude for no legitimate reason.

Honestly, I wonder how Catholic/Christian kids get away with all that.  Glad I'll be moving soon.  ////__-

On a side note, sorry for the huge post.  I like to talk about school.

God, I hate geography. I honestly see no point in memorizing a bunch of capitals and states. We just need to know the basics. /)##(\

I'm working hard. I have to make sure I do good this year since it is my third year of lower secondary and I have to pass the examination papers in Italian, as well as exams in mathematics, science and a foreign language, so I can get my lower secondary diploma to goto upper secondary. It's a busy year for me.

I have a 92 in French, a 85 in history, 93 in careers and 80 in science.
